I know this doesn't really matter anymore, but while Dark Angel was still on the air i always wondered who would be cast as an adult Jondy if she ever came back. I wanted to see more of Jondy before i even got to see the Pilot, so it seemed very important to me throughout the show's run. We all know that we never got to see Jondy's return happen, but to this day i still think i would have played an excellent Jondy, in fact it's the very reason i'm still writing fanfics such as Dark Fire and (hopefully someday) Fire Angel. Perhaps i'm just being silly and sentimental, and i know that God never promised me the part or anything, but still every time i see my pic next to Kyley's i can see the possibilities. I've heard many actresses proposed for the part (back when the show was still on the air and we Freaks / Barcoders / whatever-you-want-to-call-us-fans were debating such things), but i just could never see Eliza Dushku, Jennifer Love Hewitt, or Michelle Branch in the part. Jondy's eyes are blue for crying out loud! So it's not really important anymore, but i want to give all of you the chance to see Kyley and me side by side as it were because even though we will never know what it really would have been like, i still like to think that this is a glimpse of what could have been... |
