Arguably the best episode of the first season (if not the series), ...And Jesus Brought a Casserole proved me wrong when it was even better than Meow. The season's cliffhanger made for one loooonnnnnnnngggggggggggg summer, and made me a bigger fan than ever. Max and Logan finally get together in AJBAC, but their joy is short lived. I think that it was because of this episode that i finally started building this page: it's taken me over a year to get the first season's ep reviews completed, but it was worth it. | Many fans complain about Lydecker's comment that he "Would never presume to pollute the gene pool." They say a gene is a gene is a gene, and his genes wouldn't pollute the pool more than anyone else's. The trouble is, alcoholism is theorized to be related to genetics (which is why it runs in the family), so if he did donate genetic material, the X-5s could have ended up being alcoholics like him. | |

I didn't understand what they meant by ...and Jesus Brought a Casserole at first. Lydecker is really upset: turns to drink, he does.
